DescriVedendo Sansevero – Audio-guide tour for visually impaired visitors

DescriVedendo Sansevero is an inclusive guided tour promoted by Associazione Nazionale Subvedenti and it is designed specifically for visually impaired visitors. It was introduced in Italian in 2021 with the aim of making the museum’s historical and artistic heritage accessible through appropriate forms of reception.

The service is always available to visitors, and the certified text has been transformed into a dedicated 25-minute tour, now integrated into the museum's audio guide. The works and magnificence of the Baroque Chapel are illustrated during the tour to allow visually impaired people to enjoy the wonders of the monumental complex independently.

Starting from December 2023, the service will also be available in English. The text has been translated, recorded, and loaded onto audio guides to be made available free of charge to all those with attested visual impairment.
