European Heritage Days 2023 – On Saturday, 23 September, the Sansevero Chapel
will remain open until 10:00 p.m.

On 23 September, the Sansevero Chapel Museum will be participating in the 2023
European Heritage Days with extended opening hours from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
(last admission at 9:30 p.m.).
A share of the proceeds from ticket sales – 1 euro for each ticket sold throughout the
day – will go to support the restoration project of the choir of the Basilica of Santa
Maria degli Angeli in Pizzofalcone (Naples). This initiative is promoted by the non-
profit association “Friends of Naples”.
The initiative is part of the 2023 European Heritage Days events, the largest and
most prominent cultural event in Europe. This year’s theme is “Patrimonio InVita”,
echoing the European slogan “Living Heritage”, chosen by the Council of Europe and
