Launch of the online ticket office at the Sansevero Chapel Museum

A new booking system to choose the day and time of entry and gain quick access thanks to the special queue for pre-booked ticket holders

From today, 17th February 2017, tickets for the Sansevero Chapel Museum are available for purchase online. The new booking system – which supplements on-site purchase at the box office – makes it possible to choose the day and time of visits and to have quick access thanks to the dedicated queue for pre-booked ticket holders.
The online ticket service enables direct computer, tablet or phone purchase of entry tickets to this Baroque monument, visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. There is a supplementary booking fee.
Tickets purchased online are shown directly at the entrance to the Sansevero Chapel, bypassing the ticket office. This enables members of the public to plan their visit and reduces waiting time to a minimum.
The initiative, which the Museum has been working on for some time, is a support to direct sales at the Museum ticket desk, which will remain open to visitors throughout Chapel opening hours. Visitors who purchase entrance tickets at the museum ticket office will continue to enter in the usual way.

The online service is run by AzzurroService.Net, a company specialising in the creation of computerised ticketing systems for events and institutions.
Visitors can access the dedicated platform directly from the Sansevero Chapel Museum website, by entering the “Acquista online/Online tickets” area. In just a few clicks, users will be able to book their chosen date and time slots and purchase tickets. Visitors must print the ticket received by email in PDF format and show it at the Museum entrance for barcode control.
Tickets are available on the site four months in advance, and the cost of online booking is € 1.00 for all categories and € 0.50 for schools. The € 1.00 and € 0.50 booking fees are a special offer on tickets purchased online by 19th March 2017.
