The Sansevero Chapel Museum offers an audio guide service to help you learn more about its works of art, enriching your visit with information from the museum director and well-known experts.
There is also an audio guide for children (recommended age 6-12 years): the friendly voice of Gennarino, the Prince of Sansevero’s faithful servant, accompanies them as they discover the chapel treasures.
The audio guide, produced by Antenna International, is available in Italian (also for visually impaired visitors), English, Spanish, French and German.
The audio tour lasts about 25 minutes and costs € 3.50.
Disabled people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility can easily visit the whole nave area of the Sansevero Chapel and the sacristy. Unfortunately, the Underground Chamber, which houses the Anatomical Machines, will not be accessible to them as they can only be accessed from a narrow nineteenth-century spiral staircase.
Within the Museum, it is forbidden to: touch the works of art, photograph them, carry out video recordings, or use mobile phones. No animals.
